Serta makes great office chairs but how good are their executive chairs? Can they match with the rest of the competition? Are they durable enough to last you years? Are they good-looking enough to fit with your high-end executive desk?

The main thing about the executive chairs is that, if they want to be considered good, they must have a lot of room and a lot of padding. The Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair has both of those. The bigger and taller people will particularly be huge fans of this chair, just because of the amount of space it has. If you are a heavier person, finding the right executive chair can be a big and complicated task since there are not a lot of executive chairs on a budget that will fit heavier people and provide them comfort. Luckily, there is this Serta executive chair to fix those problems.

It also has a bigger weight limit than other chairs, 350 lbs to be exact, which is great. The 5-star real wooden base gives this chair a sturdy feel and a balance to support that weight limit. The overall build quality is surprisingly good for a “budget” executive chair.

It is durable enough to last you a longer period and when you sit on it for a certain amount of time you get a feeling you are safe, it gives you that firm and comfortable feeling when you lay back in this chair. For this budget, we were truly pleased with the Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair.

For fans of adjustable arms and those who have lower desks, you will be disappointed with this chair, because this one doesn’t have adjustable arms, so be sure your desk has enough space to put this chair under it, and not let its arms get in the way. But, you can adjust the height of the chair with a lever that is found under it.

And, it’s quite heavy; it’s an executive chair after all. But, be sure to have someone give you a hand when you are placing it in your home office because it can be heavy for one person.

This chair truly gives an “executive” impression to anyone who looks at it, let alone to someone who sits on it. It’s big and the wooden accents that it has surely fit well with that big size.

The Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair has a leather finish that will go well with any brown executive desk, especially with something like the Hooker Furniture European Renaissance II. It surely doesn’t have that “budget” look to it, so you don’t have to worry will it fit with an executive desk.

Very rarely do we see an executive chair for those who are on a budget that is this good. Don’t get us wrong, it still does have its flaws, like most chairs out there, but the comfort and the build quality really surpassed our initial expectations.

And, another great thing is that it is very easy to assemble, so that gives it another bonus. We recommend it to anyone, especially heavier people and those who have a nice executive desk to pair this chair with.

The Serta Big & Tall Executive Chair is one of those chairs that are good in almost any aspect, so it’s not a huge surprise that we highly suggest it.
